KRAFTWITCH (he/they) is the stage name of John Moletress, a Philadelphia-based artist, musician, producer and label head of Three Wands Records.

Field Notes Vol. 1 marks their debut EP with Three Wands Records, released on 12.26.23 with the single Blue Skies (Original) released on 12.12.23 across DSP platforms - Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, etc.

KRAFTWITCH’s music is known for its blend of electronic and acoustic sound, samples, and field recordings, taking inspiration from a range of musicians and genres including IDM, minimal house, jazz, and Pauline Oliveros.

KRAFTWITCH returned to focusing on music at the start of the pandemic in 2020, creating and constructing computer coded digital instruments from a variety of found objects and sculptural ideas, for which they livestreamed weekly performances.

Before the pandemic, when KRAFTWITCH performed under their given name John Moletress, their performance work toured the US, UK, and EU, working with artists such as Ron Athey.
